I have been into Mear since the early 90's. The LA and Bay Area crews had a huge influence on me and ultimately ushered me into to doing graffiti art as well. Believe it or not Seattle had some real things happening here in the early 90's which is has evolved today.

Anyone that does not believe that graffiti is a legitimate, valid, and relevant art form - then you are truly an ignorant asshole. This takes more skill and precision than most people will ever realize. It takes can control, technique, and most of all style to create murals like this. Ask your favorite "modern artist" to pull this off.

reminds me of a documentary i saw a few years back about whooping cranes who needed to be trained to fly trans-am by a group of volunteers (well, im sure there was some funding involved) and they had to dress up in full whooping crane drag, never appearing to the birds as humans, ultimately leading them via airplane. funny and interesting. in the end most of them didnt make it. in fact, i think only a few of them even came close to their target destination.
